Confirmation 2026   Enrolment for next year’s course will open in January 2026. Parents of children in school Year 8 and above will be invited to register their son or daughter for the preparation course. The candidate for Confirmation should be attending Sunday Mass regularly for the preparation and the Sacrament of Confirmation to make any sense. Preparation classes will be at 12noon on Saturdays for 1 hour, and will take place in September 2026, with an introductory meeting in June. The Confirmation Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 11th October 2026 at 3pm.  

For Confirmation the candidate needs to be in Year 8 or above of secondary school.  Confirmation courses run every other year and the timing depends on the dates given to us by the Bishop. The next course is scheduled for 2026. A note will be placed in the weekly newsletter informing candidates when registration opens for the course.  Once registered, it is important to attend sessions regularly and faithfully.
